FSCC 38th Annual Spring Rodeo

Fort Scott Community College hosts the 38th Annual Spring Rodeo on March 8th-10th! This action packed rodeo will take place in the indoor Arnold Arena. The rodeo will feature 25 Kansas and Oklahoma 2-year and 4-year colleges competing for a variety of titles. These athletes work hard, not only in the classroom, but in the arena!

Greyhound's Academic Awesomeness

Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds are full of academic awesomeness! Over 300 students made it on either the Honor Roll list (GPA 3.5-3.74), Vice President's list (GPA 3.75-3.99), or President's list (GPA 4.0+) for the fall 2018 semester! Athletics alone had an average GPA of nearly 3.0, with Volleyball leading the way with an average GPA of 3.8! 

Gordon Parks presents "Slave to Soldier" Lunch & Learn

Fort Scott, KS- Gordon Parks Museum observing Black History Month with a “Lunch and Learn” Buffalo Soldier history presentation “Slave to Soldier” on Friday, February 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Ellis Fine Arts Center.  The hour’s program will feature Guest Speakers:  The Alexander/Madison Chapter – Greater Kansas City/Leavenworth Area 9th & 10th (Horse) Cavalry Association.

FSCC Rodeo is on TOP!

Fort Scott, Ks--Fort Scott Community College Rodeo Team fall recap; after four fall season college rodeos in the central plains region, the men’s team is sitting in the top four in team standings. There are also several individuals sitting high in the standings.

Junior / Senior Day 2019

Fort Scott Community College invites high school juniors and seniors to Spring Junior/Senior Day on Thursday, March 7th. The event will begin with registration at 9:00 am at the Danny & Willa Ellis Family Fine Arts Center.
