1. Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork and professional ethics.
2. Display the professional standards for artistry of hair-cutting and styling.
3. Apply the techniques of chemical services including coloring, texturizing and performing acrylic nails services.
4. Develop an understanding of Salon success skills including the sale of retail products, customer service and money management.
5. Demonstrate the knowledge of the rules and regulations set by the Kansas Board of cosmetology.
6. Possess the necessary skills to pass the theory and practical exams for Kansas state cosmetology licensure.
