Nursing Career and Education Fair

Please join us on Monday, November 5th from 1pm to 4pm for a Nurse Career and Education Fair, to be held at the Ellis Fine Arts Center, 2108 South Horton in Fort Scott.  This event is open to the public as well as nursing, pre-nursing, and allied health students.  There will be door prize drawings for students held throughout the event.

Enrollment for the FSCC spring semester is now open and ready for you to start or continue your academic career. 

Don't like getting out of bed or have a full-time job that doesn't allow you to come to regular classes? Not a problem!! You can earn your associates online! 

FSCC Smoke-free Ex Program

Fort Scott Community College, in collaboration with Truth Initiative, announced today the EX Program, an innovative quit-smoking program designed for FSCC employees and students.  The EX Program is a comprehensive, digital smoking-cessation program designed for employers, health systems and health plans to offer to their employees or members who smoke.

Ahoy! Gilligan's Island the Musical

FSCC theater stage becomes “Gilligan’s Island”

Fifty-four years after the tiny “S.S. Minnow” first set sail from its tropic port, the ship comes aground on the stage at Fort Scott Community College as the FSCC theater department presents “Gilligan’s Island: The Musical” at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19-20 and 2 p.m. Oct. 21.

FSCC Annual Business Expo

Fort Scott Community College presents the Annual Business Expo, taking place on August 22nd from 9am to 11:30am in Bailey Hall. All businesses are welcome to attend! Set up will be any time between 7:30am and 9am, refreshments will be available in the faculty lounge for businesses. Each business will get the opportunity to mingle with the students and the community is welcome as well.

Blake Shepard Benefit Game

Fort Scott Community College student and baseball player Blake Shepard passed away Monday night. Shepard was a freshmen from Ponca City, OK.

 

Head baseball coach, John Hill writes, "After 8 days of struggle, his body gave out and he is now in a better place than any of us."
