FSCC Cross Country 19th in the Nation

Fort Scott, KS--Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) Cross Country team took on Nationals and came in at 19th in the Nation, the first time in program history! 


Derek Tratnyek (far left)- Top finisher on the team Placed 37th in the Nation out of 343 athletes With A New PR 25.54 and also Coaches Association All-American winner.


Raymond Longoria (second from right) finished 2nd on the Team and place 66 out of 343 athletes with a new PR of 26.33


“The Kids ran hard and they did a great job. I’m proud of all of them for a new program, we shocked a lot of people and that’s a good thing. If everyone thought our XC team was good just wait until track season...we have a team that can win conference in our 1st year”, said Head Coach Philip Redrick.
