The speech and Theater Arts classes produce a community theater musical in the fall and in the spring, the children's theater production, and participate with the summer community theater melodrama. Any student with an interest in theater may audition for roles in these plays or volunteer to help in the production, make-up, sound, lighting, scene design, or stage props.
FSCC Theater Scholarship Auditions will be held on February 18th from 9am-12pm
Auditions will be held at Fort Scott Community College on February 18th, 2012 from the time of 9:00am to 12:00pm. Performers should prepare no more than a 3-minute audition piece consisting of two contrasting monologues. Singers please bring music, an accompanist will be provided.
Technical applicants are also encouraged to attend for portfolio reviews, if they have them, and an interview. Portfolios are not required.
