Student Support Services
What is SSS?
Student Support Services (SSS) is a federally funded program that provides academic support for 200 eligible students enrolled at Fort Scott Community College. SSS can help you to complete difficult courses with tutoring and supplemental instruction. In addition, SSS can help with you transition to a four-year college. If you need assistance with finding financial aid or need additional counseling, then FSCC’s Student Support Services is here for you!

Who is Eligible?
Students are eligible for SSS if they are:
  • Enrolled at FSCC's main campus
  • A Citizen or National of the United States
  • In need of academic support
  • One of the following:
       1. First Generation Student
          (neither parent has a four-year degree)
       2.Low Income
       3.Diagnosed Disability

Who Can Apply?
Any FSCC student is invited to meet with the SSS staff to determine eligibility for the program. SSS offers many opportunities throughout the year to get to together with fellow students for learning experiences and fun.
