It’s time for the Fort Scott Community College 32nd
Annual Spring College Rodeo. The rodeo will feature bareback riding, calf
roping, breakaway roping, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, goat tying,
team roping, barrel racing and bull riding. The action-packed event will take
place inside Arnold Arena on the FSCC campus March 8-10 and will feature
athletes from 25 two-year and four-year colleges and universities in Kansas,
Oklahoma, and Northwestern Missouri.
Both the men’s and women’s teams compete in ten rodeos hosted by the
region each year, only one of which is at home.
FSCC’s rodeo season is in full swing. The team recently
competed in Manhattan for the K-State rodeo. The men’s team won first place and
the women’s team finished in fifth.
Be sure to catch all of the talented members of the FSCC
Rodeo Team as they compete this weekend.
