It is a six-way partnership between John Deere Company, the John Deere dealers, Fort Scott Community
College,Pittsburg State University, the City of Frontenac and the students in our program.
John Deere has pledged to keep our ag tech program current with training components, equipment and
educational opportunities for our instructors.
The regional John Deere dealers have pledged to provide paid internship experience and uniforms for our
students.
The college provides the facilities, instructors, and classes to round out this Associate of Applied
Science Degree program.
Students attend classes at theTechnology Center on north 69 Highway in Frontenac, Kan.

Selection Procedures
After you have completed the Application for Admission to FSCC, have taken the Entrance exam, and we have a signed Dealer Agreement in hand, your
scores will be submitted to John Deere. We will then send you and the sponsoring dealer a letter with
the results. At this point, if accepted, you will be officially in the Ag Tech program.
