I've enrolled in an online class, but I can't login to Blackboard.

  • There could be a variety of reasons why you can't login to Blackboard. Here are some things to check:
    1. Make sure you are using your correct student id number. If you've lost your student id number, contact the Blackboard Specialist (1-800-TRI-FSCC or 620-223-2700).
    2. Make sure you're using your correct password. If you've never used Blackboard before at FSCC, your password will be initially set to the last four digits of your Social Security number (you can change your password later after you login). If you have used Blackboard before at FSCC, your password will be whatever it was the last time you used it. If you've forgot your password, ask your instructor to reset your password for you.
    3. You may be trying to login to Blackboard too early. Blackboard courses are not opened up to students until the first day of classes.
    4. There may be some other problem with your enrollment, such as non-payment of tuition, full classes, etc. Contact Advising (1-800-TRI-FSCC or 620-223-2700) to confirm whether or not you are officially enrolled.
    5. Email the instructor of the class. You can find the instructor's email on the course syllabus. Course syllabi are posted on the campus website under "Online Classes" .
