Learning Resource Center
The Fort Scott Community College Learning Resource Center is located in the Academic Building on the southeast corner of the campus. The LRC houses over 12,000 books, more than 55periodical and newspaper subscriptions, and audio-visual materials.

Contemporary electronic resources available to faculty, staff, students, and the community include on-line periodical indexing and full-text retrieval services, the automated library catalog, an internet web browser, and a photocopier.

During the Fall and Spring semesters, the LRC hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. During the Summer, the LRC is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Trained staff members are available to assist with the use of library resources.

Books may be checked out for a minimum of three weeks and periodicals for one week. If materials are lost, replacement cost will be charged to the responsible borrower.
